Selected for your reading pleasure by: erm, Joseph Smith

In a secret ballot, we scored the book:

The wine we enjoyed this month wasAnything. Anything to get us through this discussion. In the author’s case, it was lager. About 10 pints if Chris’s estimate is correct.

‘Look into my eyes, look into my eyes, the eyes, the eyes, not around the eyes, don’t look around my eyes, look into my eyes, you’re under.’

The Wolf: Well, what can you say about a book which ‘we analysed better than the author did’, as Chris so pithily pointed out? What can you say about swans that fly up into caves at the top of towering cliffs and foxes that communicate with wolves by ‘eyeball telepathy’? Not a lot, really, even  if you are an avid reader of wolf.org, as is Marilyn. Still, you have to hand it to the author for showing up. After having been inadvertently copied in on three WBWC emails slagging off his book, he gamely showed up and provided us with stunning answers such as, ‘I didn’t know the swan had any symbolism. I just like swans.’

Just kiddin’ ya, Joe, we loved it. Not the book so much. But the discussion was legendary. You’re welcome back any time!
